Aerospace Alloys, Inc. undertook this project to manufacture prototype through production quantities of custom beer tap handles. Because the relative volume of the order was small, we were able to eliminate the associated tooling costs by using abrasive waterjet cutting machines.

Using a customer supplied print, we waterjet cut custom architectural metal fabrication beer taps in accordance with our client’s specifications. We worked with stainless steel, aluminum, and brass base materials, with each beer tap handle featuring a material thickness from 1/16″ to ¼”. The overall product length varied from 8″ to 12″, while product width varied between 2″ and 4″ in measurement. Throughout manufacturing, the tightest tolerance we upheld was +/-.010″. Once we met and surpassed our client’s standards for integrity and quality, we delivered the order to our client where it was put to use in a food service application. We’re pleased to offer this service nationally.
